Drei Staaten Gruppe Bull Session & Family Picnic returns to our normal date!
The 46th annual Drei Staaten Gruppe vintage air cooled Porsche club’s Family Picnic and Bull Session was held on May 22nd
at our favorite Sharon Woods Park Lone Oak shelter area. The weekend rain prohibited some members from bringing
out their favorite Porsches. The enthusiasm to socialize again was evident for those who ventured out on a
rain threatened morning, however the rain never materialized.
We were back on our normal date after two years of cancellations and postponements!
Both 356 Registry members and some Ohio Valley PCA members enjoyed the festivities as we all stayed dry!
Due to the limited number of cars, we delayed our People’s Choice event until the next club opportunity.
Club President Peter Boettcher deserves a big thanks for his huge effort to keep this event on our calendar.
His committee of volunteers shared many of the behind the scenes and day of chores to help make this an enjoyable event for all. Thank you Peter!
The Porsche 356 Trivia quiz which is compiled by our former club president Carl Iseman once again proved to be a
mind bending challenge of Porsche 356 minutia. Do you know how many studs are on the front Porsche 356 emblem? Answer is five.
Thanks to our many business friends, the Trivia Quiz prize table that was stocked with t-shirts, hats, swag bags, coffee cups, all donated by various Porsche parts and services sellers.
In addition, club member Ted Hunter won the “Porsche of the Village” special raffle of a
car detailing session at their Mariemont Porsche establishment.
See you next May with hopefully more cars and better weather.
